Six Services, One Number, 24 Hours a Day

Our Services

Breakdown Recovery Experts covers breakdown recovery, vehicle transportation, flat tyre assistance, fuel delivery, vehicle lockouts and battery jump starts across the whole of County Antrim. Every one of them is available in all 51 areas we cover.

We quote by SMS before anything moves, so the price is agreed in advance rather than discussed at the roadside. Call 07575 313 405 at any hour.

Breakdown Recovery

Whether the vehicle can be towed on its wheels or has to go on a flat bed decides almost everything about the job.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Vehicle Transportation

A planned move is the one job where we know the vehicle before we arrive, so it is worth getting the details right in advance rather than at the kerb.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Flat Tyre Assistance

The question that decides this job is not the puncture, it is whether the vehicle carries anything to put on in its place.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Fuel Delivery

Petrol and diesel are not the same job: a diesel that has run completely dry often needs more than fuel put in it.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Vehicle Lockouts

Modern vehicles are far harder to open without the key than older ones, and pretending otherwise wastes everyone’s evening.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Battery Jump Starts

A jump start is a diagnosis as much as a fix: a battery that goes flat again by morning has not actually been dealt with.

Available across all 51 areas we cover, 24 hours a day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which service do I need if my car will not start?

Start with battery jump starts if the lights are dim or it clicks, and breakdown recovery if it turns over but will not fire, or does nothing at all. If you are not sure, ring and describe what happens when you turn the key. That is usually enough to tell.

Is roadside help always cheaper than recovery?

Usually, because nothing has to be loaded or transported. But a roadside fix that will not hold is a false economy, and we would rather tell you that at the kerb than have you call again an hour later.

Do all six services run 24 hours a day?

The phone is answered 24 hours a day across all of them. A lockout is generally scheduled behind a vehicle stopped in a live lane, and we will tell you honestly where you sit rather than promise a time we cannot hold.

Do you cover vans and larger vehicles?

Tell us the vehicle when you call. A car or an ordinary van is routine. A long wheelbase van, a motorhome or a heavily loaded vehicle can be beyond what a standard light recovery unit is plated for, which is why we ask first.

Can you help with an electric vehicle?

Yes, with the important caveat that an electric vehicle should generally be moved with all four wheels off the ground, and one that has run out of charge needs recovering to a charge point rather than anything that can be done at the roadside.

How do you quote?

By SMS, before anything moves. The price is agreed in advance rather than settled while you are standing at the roadside, which is the whole point of doing it that way.

Where do you cover?

County Antrim, across 51 towns and villages from the M1 corridor to Islandmagee. Every one has its own page under Areas We Cover.

What do you need to know when I call?

The road and direction of travel, the make, model and rough age of the vehicle, whether it is electric, hybrid or automatic, and what has happened. Those decide which unit is sent.

Can you recover from a motorway?

Yes, once the vehicle and its occupants are in a place of safety. We cannot work in a live running lane, and where a vehicle has stopped in lane that is a PSNI and DfI Roads matter before any recovery unit attends.

Do you do planned moves as well as emergencies?

Yes, that is vehicle transportation: a scheduled move of a vehicle that is not in distress, such as a sold car, a project or a garage transfer. Give us as much notice as you can, because planned work competes with emergency callouts for the same units.
