24/7 Breakdown Recovery Across County Antrim
Areas We Cover
Breakdown Recovery Experts covers 51 towns and villages across County Antrim. They are grouped below by the road network that serves them, because on a breakdown the road you are on decides far more than the postcode does.
Every area has its own page with the roads that serve it, the recovery rules on them, where a vehicle can realistically be left, and links to all six of our services for that location. Call 07575 313 405 any hour.
The East Antrim coast
Served by the A2 Antrim Coast Road, the A8 dual carriageway to Belfast and the A36 over the hills to Ballymena. Between the shoreline and the cliffs there is simply nowhere for the road to widen, so along this stretch a stopped vehicle is far more likely to be sitting in traffic than tucked safely out of it.
The Belfast Lough shore
Served by the A2 Shore Road, the M5 motorway spur and the M2 at its Belfast end. More of the traffic here runs on motorway and clearway than anywhere else we cover, which means a stopped vehicle is often somewhere it is not permitted to stop at all, and that governs what can be done next.
The Six Mile Water and mid Antrim
Served by the A57 between Templepatrick and Larne, the B59 through Doagh and the M2 junctions at Sandyknowes and Templepatrick. The country roads through here run between hedgerows with barely a foot of margin, and it is the sightline around the next bend rather than the traffic volume that decides whether a spot is safe to work in.
The M2 and M22 corridor
Served by the M2, the M22, the A26 to Ballymena and the A6 toward Toome. With two motorways and two trunk roads running through it, this is the corridor where a breakdown is most likely to be a motorway one, and where getting people out of danger comes ahead of everything else.
The Crumlin Road and airport side of the county
Served by the A52 Crumlin Road, the A26 airport road and the network of B roads down to the Lough Neagh shore. Traffic here runs in surges around flight times and shift changes at the airport, so the same stretch of the A26 can be quiet at one hour and nose to tail at the next, which affects how a recovery is staged more than the distance does.
The M1 corridor and the Lough Neagh shore
Served by the M1, the A1 toward Lisburn and the lanes running down to the Lough Neagh shore and the Lagan Canal. A busy motorway sits directly alongside some of the tightest lanes we cover, which means two callouts barely two miles apart can be entirely different pieces of work.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much of County Antrim do you actually cover?
We cover 51 towns and villages across the county, grouped below by the road network that serves them rather than alphabetically, because the roads are what decide how a callout runs.
My village is not listed. Does that mean you will not come?
Not at all. The list below is the places with their own page, not the limit of where we go. If you are in County Antrim, ring and ask.
Why are the areas grouped by road rather than by town?
Because the road is what matters when a vehicle has stopped. A breakdown on the M2 and one on an Islandmagee lane are two different jobs even if the towns look close together on a map.
Do you cover the motorways themselves?
Yes, the M1, M2, M22 and M5 all run through our patch. What we cannot do is work in a live running lane: the vehicle and its occupants need to be in a place of safety first, and where that has not happened it is a PSNI and DfI Roads matter before a recovery unit can attend.
Are you available 24 hours a day everywhere you cover?
Yes. The phone is answered around the clock across the whole coverage area.
Which services are available in every area?
All six: breakdown recovery, vehicle transportation, flat tyre assistance, fuel delivery, vehicle lockout assistance and battery jump starts. Every area page links through to all six for that location.
Do you charge differently depending on the area?
Distance and what is involved both affect the price. We quote by SMS before setting off so it is agreed in advance rather than at the roadside.
Can you tell me how long you will be before I commit?
Yes, and we would rather give you a realistic figure than a flattering one. We do not publish a blanket response time because it would not be honest across an area this varied.
What if I am between two of the areas listed?
Give us the road name and the direction you were travelling rather than the nearest village. On rural roads that is far more useful to a driver than a place name.
Do you cover outside County Antrim?
County Antrim is our coverage area. If a job starts or ends just outside it, ring and ask rather than assuming either way.
Need Us Now?
